Weavey Studio - How to Make a Simple Macrame Felt Daisy Flower Car Vent Clips Car Diffuser




Car air fresheners can be expensive and often contain harsh chemicals. Why not make your own with this fun and easy DIY project? In this tutorial, we'll show you how to create a Felt Daisy Flower Car Vent Clip Car Diffuser that will make your car smell great and look beautiful.


Materials:


Felt sheets (yellow and white)

Scissors

Glue gun and glue sticks

Essential oils (optional)

Car vent clip

Step 1: Cut your felt

Cut three circles from the yellow felt, each about 2 inches in diameter. These will be the petals of your daisy. Cut a small circle from the white felt, about 1 inch in diameter. This will be the center of your daisy.


Step 2: Create the petals

Fold one of the yellow circles in half and then in half again to create a quarter circle. Cut a small slit in the center of the quarter circle. Repeat this process with the other two yellow circles. These will be your daisy petals.


Step 3: Create the center

Fold the white circle in half and then in half again to create a quarter circle. Cut a small slit in the center of the quarter circle. This will be the center of your daisy.


Step 4: Assemble the daisy

Take one of the yellow petals and slide it through the slit in the white center. Fold the petal in half and glue it in place. Repeat this process with the other two yellow petals, spacing them evenly around the center.


Step 5: Add the car vent clip

Glue the back of the daisy to the car vent clip. Make sure the clip is facing up so that the air can flow through the petals.


Step 6: Add essential oils (optional)

If you want to add a scent to your car diffuser, add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil to the felt petals.


Tips:


Experiment with different colors and shapes to create unique designs.

Be careful when using a glue gun to avoid burning yourself.

Choose essential oils that are safe to use in a car and won't be too overpowering.
